random earworms

Randomly, suddenly, I find myself singing/humming "Que Sera Sera". Randomly, suddenly, I feel like I should compile a list of what earworms1 affect me, because I do wonder if earworms are universal, or if different people are more sensitive to different musical characteristics. It has definitely shifted over time for me, because I used to get Yuko

Oh man, I remember Pure Snow. I remember we were looking for shows to show at our local anime club next semester and one of them was Himiko Den which this was the opening was for. I remember that because of the intro (it had pretty high production values), we watched a few episodes and then realized the show was pretty bad and the opening was the best part about it :P.

Music is a poor indicator of show quality, especially opening/closing songs; background music is a slightly better indicator.

Wait, how the hell do *I* know this song then? Was it a closing song on Kenshin? Why is this familiar, I've never seen that anime...

The only anime use that I'm aware of is Himiko-den, but the opening was well-known back in the day (though as dwchang notes the show was not very good.
