I have a prayer
Oh, whatever deity is willing and able to help me with this (even if that deity is my subconscious) today I found myself being less compassionate than I ought to be.
I ask your help in finding it within myself to be compassionate to those who are suffering because their worldview is being systematically dismantled. Please help me be compassionate to those who are so attached to their beliefs that anyone daring to question those beliefs is seen as a threat.
And also, please keep them from making life more difficult for those of us who don't fit their worldview.
