I really enjoy saying how much I love tits, but obviously (or not so obviously) I actually mean T.I.T.S who are band probably from San Francisco who make wicked loud rock music with amazing harmonic haunting vocals. Such amazing actual rock guitar and feedback squealing. There was even a point where the drummer did a classic rock style double sticks on all toms in turn. You know what I mean. I can't explain it. They played at Barden's tonight and I bought their new record and got an old one on CD-R or free. WIN ALL ROUND. I think it was because the girl who was selling me it who was in the band liked my hair I liked hers, I was thinking of how I'd get her cut but in my hair. Yes. win for all double time. I can't wait to come in to some cash money...if ever.
Katie Stelmanis also played which was basically the most beautiful thing i've heard in just about forever. Incredible two-piece with classically trained vocals, simplistic (yet stylish, i.e some good snare rolls) drumming with a hint at some more, electronic beats, some kind of synthy xylophone, looped keyboards and those utterly heart-melting vocals, plus the odd harmony. I NEARLY DIED. If I had enough money I'd have bought their cd too. I'm going to go when they play Utrophia or the other London show they're doing or both. JOIN ME THEY'RE BRILLIANT.
NONE OF THIS MAKES SENSE BECAUSE I'VE BEEN DRINKING AND I'M EXCITED.
