Helau! or Lei Lei!?
This was a happy weekend.
Friday was shopping with Steffi. I found THE jacket. The one I had searched for years. It looks great :-) And then there was Mainz-Carnival on TV. Silvio was enthusiastic and I immediately fell asleep.
Saturday was waking up and NOT being tired, which is a very rare situation lately. Then we went to training and Merdin was there, too. He's about my age, studying chemistry, loves shot-put and discus. Hehe. We gossipped until Silvio had to stop us and make us go on with the training. And I was so great: Several throws were around the 7m-mark :-)))
At home, I decided to sew a carnival costume for me: a cap with phantasy-donkey-rabbit ears and a tail. Silvio saw it and NEEDED such a thing. So I sewed 2 of those funny things. And since we had costumes, we had to go to a carnival-parade. I just got ready at 6pm and so we headed for my very first parade. Bingen-Büdesheim. Night parade. That was FUN! I didn't understand Steffi until now. She took a few days off just for carnival. But I guess she's having endless fun today in Mainz.
Finally Sunday was Silvio's birthday. Extensive brunch and then a comfortable afternoon. Trexico-carnival-parade in the sun and masses of sweets. I've never seen that many sweets around me. But I was strong and gave most of them to the surrounding kids.
Silvio's brother + gf came for a visit and we played Carcassonne and Munchkin until late at night. (MUUUUNCHKIIIIIIN!!!)
Hmmmm.
I feel happy and relaxed and loved. :-)
