In November I started my first coating experiments. When they were done, our metallography lab closed for renovation and I was told to wait for 2 weeks. Then they would embed, saw, grind, polish, photograph, etc. my samples.
I waited until mid December. The renovation work wasn't done before the last week before Christmas and then they told me to wait until the next year.
Daniela is still on holiday and Ellen was ill until yesterday. So I gave her my samples and she wanted to take pictures of them to document their original state before embedding and sawing them.
That's what she told me yesterday. Today she let me know that the camera had crashed or the driver or anything. And she can't embed them before those pictures are taken.
What I didn't say until now: I can't continue my work before I get those results...

Aaargh!

But I am a clever girl.
remember my sample pictures? I had already documented them all. Taken photographs of both sides. With yellow background and not exactly the way Ellen would have done it, but: Hehe! She can start working on them now :-)))
