grilled steaks + garlic sauce (from the supermarket) tastes lovely...
and so do the rosemary-tomatoes: cut tomatoes into halves, salt and pepper a little, put a small twig of rosemary (from the garden... ooooh - i love the garden :-)) on them, wrap into bacon and put onto the barbecue. *drooools*

btw. do you have bright orange lizards in the US? We usually don't have them over here, but they were at this former army base...

Big orange... Huh? Well, yea, in the Southwest but that REALLY hot and REALLY dry. I can't imagine one that would survive in Germany, even during the summer.

It was very hot there, but no desert climate though. They were also not completely orange, but had a dark brown back and very orange sides... And their length was 20cm or more, which is very unusual for middle european lizards except one sort: But that one is extremely green.
