I also found a post where I had been chattering away quite happily about new books, only to type: "but the gravy on the stove sounds like it just exploded."
Last night I quit karate and told my sensei exactly why. Its only been in the past hour or so that I realized just how often mentions of the art occur here. Week after next, then, I'll start visiting other martial arts schools in the area, though I doubt any other will offer the same intense level of fighting.
