Еще вспомнился эпизод, Дэвид обсуждал с другим профессором, как их старший коллега под конец жизни
занялся странными вещами, пишет книгу про математику мысли и т.д.
Дэвид: "Everybody has their own ways of dealing with the imminent intellectual demise." Как красиво, элегантно. Это вам не "под старость старик совсем из ума выжил" (вряд ли он это имел в виду), это вам imminent demise. Аах, инглиш...
