Massive Fandom Post
I've been sucked into all things media lately, combined with life-things, I feel like I've been dead to my beloved Internets. I've gotten some goodies I haven't been able to share my fan-squeal over, so here we go!
I received ACI for my b-day. Finished it in 4 days. After the ending, I came to where my bf was and was mourning how much I needed to start the 2nd one because of the story, lol. For my bday (he made a small get together to celebrate), he had surprised me with ACII and AC Brotherhood.
I just finished ACII, though I'm going to buy the DLC soon and finish whatever I can before starting brotherhood. I need to catch up on writing/art things as well, so it will do me some good not to jump into the next one quite yet.
Game has been out forever, but I've never really researched what it's about. Ads for ACIII put me off because of this "assassin" in the middle of a colonial battlefield in the preview seemed lol to me... but now... the lol is on me. I'm so on board for the story.
I'm glad that I haven't been spoiled yet in the series of what's happening, so that makes the game all the more fun and interesting.
(Not really sure if it's supposed to be called In Need of Romance or I Need Romance? Netflix says the first... but eh...?)
I just finished this about a week ago. It's rare I stick with a show consistently, but kept watching it while I had lunch by myself. Has some good comedy, some ridiculous drama (I mean, if it was me I would just totally avoid awkward situations and be done with it), some great memorable lines about love and romance in general.
I can't express enough how much I love this show. It's rare that I ever buy season sets, but I love it so much.

When I used to have Netflix as a dvd mailing service, I randomly got this show in trying to find a new anime to love. Ever since I've seen it I've been wanting to buy the seasons. Got these on a nice ebay deal a few weeks ago.
I'm sad that Season 3 never made it to US (I do enjoy the dub version a lot, too). I'm glad to have what's out though. It's just a shame it wasn't picked up. I think its a great series. Has some nice comedy and drama. Storyline line is interesting and different to me.
Conrad is my favorite. He's just so nom. ConYuu? Yesh plz.
This is the one I'm giving away for the LJ contest. If no one submits anything for it, I have no qualms keeping it. ^_^ I really love how it's drawn and will keep a scanned copy for it for myself.

I've been needing one for over a decade now. Finally bought a 11x17 printer. Works well! I made some test prints with some of my artwork and a couple of photo pictures. Overall, prints nice. There's some color discrepancies between my monitor and the printer. Hard part is how to make it match... I must of printed off like 30 pieces trying to test new profiles and stuff. What's being printed isn't bad, I can't complain, but just having the orange be a tad shade brighter than my screen drives me a little bonkers. I might try a monitor calibrator, but not sure yet. They cost $100+
I do love the printer though! I've already used it to update my portfolio book. Now I need a new scanner and I can finally get rid of my old one. ^_^
For denilmo:
I made it with veggies and rice. It was a lot of food, but was good! I had fun using chopsticks to try and turn the meat pieces over. Our pan totally sucks, so some bits stuck, but overall went pretty well. Ty for sharing the recipe!
That's about it for now. ^_^
