vacation begins!
I have been home in El Paso since Friday night and I am loving it. No quarters to do laundry, no ID card to get food, cable TV, and lots of sunshine. And the Dallas Cowboys won again today, giving them a wild car spot in the playoffs! And my dad's university, St. John's, won the NCAA Division Three national football championship yesterday, beating the Mount Union Raiders, who are three time defending national champions and who up until this game had a 55 game winning streak. Man, even if you are not a football fan you will love that game - how often do you get to see a 100-yard touchdown run?!! maybe i can make a copy of the tape and bring it up to school. anyway, that's all i've got for now...going to go do some more Christmas decorating and relaxing. hope everyone is enjoying home, where ever that may be. and to Julie and Neve, thanks for insisting that i start this - i can see how it might get addicting. adios amigos! buenos noches!
