I think I need to go back to ignoring my facebook. Why? Because Bejeweled Blitz is entirely too addictive so instead of getting a variety of things done when at the computer this weekend I've been playing minute long games in between a bit of chatter and reading of tweets by my fave celebrities. Oh speaking of....I wonder if Ron Perlman tweets. Must go look!!!!! BRB......
http://twitter.com/RonPerlman...huh....if this is really him he joined shortly after my birthday last year and posted once. Too bad.
So yeah, I really need to stop wasting so much time on the game, and actually post thoughts to FB and Twitter more. Not to mention here!!!! Here gets first priority though. Always.
Nothing really to say about life at the moment. Tis mostly boring around my neck of the woods. Suppose the only real news is I gotta work 8 to 5 all this week. Soooooo NOT looking forward to the early wake up calls. Anyways, since there's no life update to make, I thought I'd do a run down of the header fodder.
Celluloid: Not a lot to report in the world of movies, besides the fact that I got my hands on The Losers but haven't yet made time to watch. Can't afford movies so ain't been to one in ages and lately ain't even made time to watch anything on cable or DVD.
Pulp: The comic books are sold. At least the ones I opted to get rid of. Still have an obscene amount that I decided to keep. T will be proud to know we've got a new Kenyon recruit. And I'm happy to report that the nephew in the slammer is at least putting some of that copious spare time to use reading!
Tube: This is, of course, where I have the most to say. Premier Week 2010 is here!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HUZZAH!!!!!!!!!!
DVR is set to get everything I possibly can. So far I have caught the early premiers (and in some cases 2nd eps) of the following shows listed in no particular order -
- Terriers: Von and I have been talking about this one so with her permission I'm just was gonna cut and paste parts of that convo here, but we went on so long I think I'll just make that it's own post.
- Hellcats: As a general rule I don't believe in the concept of guilty pleasures but if I did this would fall under that heading. I'm a sucker for cheerleading and gymastics movies/shows so I checked it out and liked it enough despite the cliches to keep watching.
- Nikita: I've got this one DVRd but haven't made time to watch it yet so can't comment yet.
- Outlaw: I liked this. Mainly because of Smits though so not sure it'll make the must watch list. It was interesting enough that I'll stick with it a while.
One final TV note, it does look like at least this Saturday Chase will get a repeat airing so I will be catching the pilot! I wanna like this one and want it to be a success cause I love me some Amaury Nolasco.
Tunes: In the world of music, if you're a Billy Currington fan, or just like his song "Pretty Good At Drinking Beer", the vids free over at iTunes Store through tomorrow. Tuesday will be new music. Of this past week's music it's your best bet. Although "I Count The Ways" by Bostich & Fussible is interesting too.
Web: Aside from my new found Twitter and bejeweledFacebook semi-addictions, I gotta say I'm liking the new imdb format and I wanna do a plug for
Miche Bags. I was given a bag and two shells to try out and I LOVE IT!!!!!! Three purses in one and easy to switch out. Not sure if there's a way to mention my name if you order one but if there is, please do so.
So that's it. Hopefully I covered everything I want to in between interruptions. Hope all is well with all of you.
