Okay, time for the annual, "What AM I Gonna Watch This Season?" Post.
In truth, this year seems so much easier than the last few years to figure out. There's not a lot new I'm terribly excited about, with the exception of Hawaii Five-0. I will as usual give as many shows as I can a shot by watching at least the pilots where able, but here is how I expect things to be by the time the season is in full swing.
In almost all instances shows are DVR'd to watch when time allows. Time is a commodity that's value is ever increasing thanks to the three kidlets under 4 in the house and other life issues including those
Goals I set for year 40.
Mondays
8PM - House and Chuck.
9PM - The Event and maybe Lone Star if the pilot airs when I can catch it and manages to hook me.
10PM - I hate when they stack three or more shows I want to watch up against one another. Castle wins by default and will usually be watch with 15 minute time delay. Hawaii Five-0 definitely gets DVRd. Have to hope the Chase is available OnDemand without a fee, airs in repeats on Saturday or that my stepdad DVRs it, otherwise, it's a no go.
Tuesdays
8PM - NCIS (LIVE +15) and No Ordinary Family.
9PM - NCISU and Life Unexpected.
10PM - I'll likely DVR Detroit 1-8-7 and give it a shot. Gave up on trying to get caught up on Parenthood Season 1 so doubt I'll bother with Season 2. This may quickly become a 'Catch up' slot Sons of Anarchy.
Wednesdays
8PM - Lie to Me (Live +15) and Undercovers
9PM - Criminal Minds and Hellcats
10PM - The Defenders and I might at least give The Whole Truth a shot. Edited to add Terriers here though I'll likely DVR the late night repeat airing!
Thursdays
8PM - Bones. Maybe the CBS comedy block as well. Might give My Generation pilot a viewing but I don't expect it to hook me.
9PM - Grey's Anatomy and Nikita
10PM - Private Practice and The Mentalist
Fridays
8PM - Medium and Human Target
9PM - Supernatural IS A MUST. Body of Proof, but only if I can get CSI NY On Demand, otherwise, not sure I wanna give a new show a slot in favor of a tried and true.
10PM - Blue Bloods and Outlaw
Saturdays
If I'm lucky Chase will have a season long repeats slot here.
Sundays
10PM - Brothers & Sisters
Looks like roughly 32 hours of TV a week. That not counting the has been adjusted to include a few cable shows not listed here (most of which will be ending their summer/fall runs) that are still airing, or the Supernatural repeats from TNT.
