So....I didn't document it at the time, but I have a witness. My computer magically (that's the only way I can explain it) logged me on to the internet Tuesday. I was just messing around with it, not getting my hopes up...and it happened! It's not happened since. Last gasp, maybe?
Friday was Dia de los Muertos. I had a good time with the kids and the activities. The fiestas were good...but I ate waaaay too much. Then, I went with the band to the last regular season game. It was the last time to perform the full show...The girls looked more like they do in practice, but overall...it's been a *great* season. It was so cold, but we all had a good time.
Speaking of good time...last night I attended the "We Beat Lebanon" party at the director's house. All the instructors were invited and we just had a good time kicking back and hanging out. Apparently he never told any of them what my real job was. One of them asked me what band I was director of. ??? Wow...band director I am not. Anyways, it was an interesting...entertaining time. ;)
I can't believe it's November already. Election Day is Tuesday and I think Devin's coming over to stay at my house and go to the mall for the tradition...just minus Amber, unfortunately. Part of me wishes she could come home now, but then I know it's just not the right time.
You know, it's a good...no great feeling when you know God is totally in control and got you in every situation. I'm still struggling with hanging on to things and not letting him take care of all of it, but...I know He's got me. Makes life much less stressful. :)
Who knows when I'll update this next....probably next Sunday.
