Wow, what an amazing final. I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, I really didn't know from one game to the next who was going to get and keep the upper hand. There were a few moments when Rafa seemed to be fading, but then he turned them around with a series of amazing, unbelievable shots.

Oh! I saw the first two sets before I had to leave to meet my friends for lunch. It was such a good game though, from what I saw! I had no idea who to root for, but am delighted Rafa won!

It was a wonderful match, for the first four sets it was really tight, with Roger just finding a better form in the second (getting a better first serve percentage for one thing) and the momentum just continued to go back and forth between them with no discernible way of saying for sure who was going to take it in the end (oh, that sounds a bit rude too)

But in the final set Roger seemed to fade and make a few more errors which allowed Rafa to get a strong hold, and I think that's what's probably upset Roger the most, that he knows that the match could have still been his for the taking, but Rafa was the one to hold on with both the mental and physical strength.

It was so upsetting to watch him cry, though, but Rafa's hug and few whispered words elicited a smile, which was so sweet.

I watched from about the third set. It was a thrilling match. When Roger broke down, I also got misty eyed and guessed you would be too! At the end, when they met at the net, I loved how Rafa said something like "You OK?"

On a lighter note, I loved the shot from the warm up when Rafa is bouncing up and down like an excitable puppy and Roger is just smiling at him as if to say 'what are you like?!'
