Do we really need a Star Trek XI movie? (Scheduled for '08, no word on who'd star in it).
Angelina Jolie has confirmed that she was approached to play Ava in Sin City 2. She's said she's interested.
Here's an ethical dilemma: A new movie (based on a supernatural horror comic book Tag) is being produced. "The story in Tag is set in motion when an average Joe strolls down the street after a fight with his girlfriend and a random stranger tags him, handing off an ancient pagan curse. He begins to die, seeing his body decompose every day before his eyes. Cursed, he must either surrender or find the next victim to tag." What would you do?
On my list of movies to see: Pan's Labyrinth. It's the store of "young girl whose fantasy world allows her to cope with the harsh realities of post-civil-war Spain." Firefly will soon be turned into a multiplayer online RPG. No word on which actors will lend their voices to it. It's due out in 2008.
The teaser trailer for the upcoming animated sequel Shrek the Third has been posted on Moviefone.com.
NBC's new hit superhero series Heroes and SCI FI Channel's Battlestar Galactica made the 2006 AFI Awards list of the 10 best TV programs of the year. FYI - NBC and SciFi Channel have the same parent company - NBC Universal. That explains the sharing of Heroes.
Thinking of Heroes, Battlestar Galactica, and Firefly - which is the better written one? I'd say Firefly. Any agreements/disagreements?
