Fall OakLeaves is at the Printer

After fits and starts and a few rough bumps I believe OakLeaves is finding its feet again since Vedis left. It is difficult to believe how much work she must have put into it that it challenges so many people to fill her two shoes. Not only was she the Publisher but she was the Editor-in-Chief and Layout Director and Copy Editor and Managing Editor and everything in between. Sure there were volunteers to help her edit articles and then layout but she held the whole kit and caboodle together. ADF owes her a lot - she was able to pull the quarterly journal together and get it up and running on schedule for a number of years (have to research quite how many) and she brought artistry to the book. Now we have a whole team doing that job. One of my dreams for the journal has been to include more bardic submissions than poetry. The Bardic arts include song and story -- and now in the Fall issue we have not only song lyrics but the sheet music as well! All thanks to the team effort in soliciting them from the artists and working out the pdf quality problems. I hope the readership enjoys this issue.
