Sometimes people really confuse me.
In other news, The Sopranos recorded "Sound of Silence" and "Across the Universe" this morning, and it turned out to be a great success. I wasn't so thrilled about starting at nine o'clock, and we were a little nervous because we weren't warming up well, but we got some good stuff. "Sound of Silence" took a few extra tracks, maybe six altogether, but we finally managed to get the right balance and blend--I had to stand in the back and sing much quieter than usual. (Monica panicked a little because she heard my voice and was like, "Wait... that sounds exactly like my voice, but that's not my part...! Who is that!?") "Across the Universe," though, just sounded great. The first two tracks were rough due to some minor individual mistakes, but we got a great one on like the third or fourth and were done. (Monica claims she had a panic attack during our last recording because it was going too well--seems she did a lot of panicking this morning!) Two hours, out and done. Hopefully I'll get a copy to send home to my parents, who still haven't heard me sing with The Sopranos. Sad face.
