I didn't do this last year. The end of 2016 and 2017 were very, very difficult. I'm planning to write a lot more about in a separate post. But for now, I'll fill this out for 2018!
1. What did you do in 2018 that you'd never done before?
Took the kids on a plane to Florida for an amazing vacation! Went on a vacation with our chosen family!
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions and will you make more for next year?
I don't really make them.
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Some friends and coworkers had babies, but no one that close to me.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
Nope. The exact opposite of 2017.
5. What countries did you visit?
None. :(
6. What would you like to have in 2019 that you lacked in 2018?
Less debt. It's getting easier to see the end of my student loan debt. It'll probably take a few more years, but it's getting there!
7. What dates from 2018 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
The end of June we went to Florida and had an amazing time at Disney and Universal. I was gleeful the entire time we were in Harry Potter's world. GLEEFUL.
The end of July my older brother and his family came to town for a week. It was great getting to hang out with everyone!
August 10-13, we rented a house in LaPorte with our chosen family (the Jaramillos) and just relaxed the entire time. It was wonderful.
August 25th, I went to see Cake and Ben Folds with my brother Nate in Indy. We saw some friends there too!

Using my phone too much.
