Did I mention with the way it is pleated now that the overskirt hangs open without trying to close even without the farthingale on?
Did I also mention that after staring at my french hood for a month? month and a half? I have decided the roll to the rear of it is too big? It looks like some bloody Mayan headdress from hell. Did I mention how much I suck as a costumer? I am going to have to fix it. somehow. Burning it seems a good option. Time to look for and at more portraits and Norris the crack boy. Sarahbellum's stuff looks fantastic, as usual. Poor woman must hate me by now.
Onto corset boning, I have decided to get the plastic coated steel 1/4 bones. Now I just need to figure out which lengths and how many. I definitely need to work out a boning diagram for my corset. Need to look at effigy corsets again. I also need to chop the straps off of my other corset since I never use the damn things. Maybe I should get the 1/2 bones instead? I am a rather round person and I would hate to snap them. Advice? Anyone?
