Stupid cast members.
So I went to the park today on my day off, I'm a dork I realize this, but omfg. Really? Okay, so my friends and me were in line for that jellyfish ride at DCA. Everyone's off the ride, so we're all waiting to be seated. But noooo, the cast members working that shift were talking to each other. TALKING. TO. EACH. OTHER. Not making sure the ride was safe, BUT MINDLESS CHATTER.
FOR TWO MINUTES!
Now, see...I'm normally a patient woman. But that? That was plain stupidity. So I shouted out, "Excuse me!" in a somewhat polite fashion that caught their attention and reminded them to do their jobs. So from there they let us on the ride, but lord all of my friends turned their backs and pretended to not notice me.
I was getting upset and wanted to correct the situation. Those cast members should be thankful that I did not make a bigger deal out of it...like stand there and demand to talk to their lead and complain to them personally of what happened.
But yeah...I'm apparently in...lead training sort of? I mean, I haven't been given the position yet, but I do have my second interview in July. I'm so hoping I get the position...but its over at emporium. Though I'm a bit wary since the newer leads there are like....not terrible but its unfair when others are being passed over and have seniority...so...yeah. but from what I've been told I would make a good Lead.
And I've told people straight up that if I get the position and something about me is bothering them, have them tell it to my face. I don't want to be that cast member people talk about behind their backs...but again, that's if I get the job...so I'm crossing my fingers.
But in the mean time....
