Summary: Castiel made a promise to Dean after returning the souls to Purgatory, but actually keeping that promise will be far more complicated than he ever could have imagined.
Artist's notes: Unlike the first one, the specifics of this idea came to me much more easily. Doesn't mean execution wasn't a bitch, though. I dislike drawing inanimate objects, to be totally frank. Chairs and tables are the devil. But I was adamant I would at least convey the company sitting at the table, if not some of the mood, and my author totally got the point.
I wish I could have done more to the picture for her, like we discussed, but life got in the way. Still, that just stopped me, not her. Go read her story.
