Merry Xmas!

Dec 25, 2002 20:17

I have had a lovely day. It may not have been Xmas as I'm used to, but it was still so much fun even though the Xmas spirit never really hit me :)
Grandma came over and we all got far too pissed (I am sobering up now but this is the first Christmas I have spent drunk). We had fireworks in the field and I have about a zillion pictures to upload when I get home..

I got :

Loads and loads of chocolate and sweeties
crepe maker and banana curd to go with the crepes
Thorntons toffee alcohol stuff (smells lush but too drunk to hve any!)
Doughnut tray (I am NOT smug married, how dare you suggest it)
Vanilla Sky
2 vegetarian cookery books (full of posh recipies)
Sex & the City series 3
candles that smell of blackberry wine and chocolate (lush!)
bubble bath bars
pot pourri
£160 including Amazon voucher
incense kit
glow in the dark stars (for when we buy a house... cant wait now!)
mirrorball (see above)
framed photo of Castell Coch where we're getting married

I dont actually remember what else I got :p
We have also acquired a scanner and some other bits and bobs.
Stu seems to have had a nice day. Its our first Xmas together and his first Xmas away from his parents but as my parents say he's been very brave! Bless him.
We had to open pressies without Alexis because he wouldnt come downstairs this morning but when he did, he was so happy. He has eaten so much and giggled constantly. Bless him :)
Apparently my Grandpa in Eastleigh said (about me and Stuie) "They're one of those things you find very rarely, and that's the Perfect Couple." HOW CUTE IS THAT? I feel perfect with him. I'm sorry if you're throwing up your Christmas dinner but it's true. What we have is really lovely and I am very glad that we got to spend this Christmas (and every other Christmas in future) together. It's been lovely.
I still feel full to the brim from lunch and it's supper time now :P MEEP!
