Hmm sorry to be on a bit of a downer but how non-christmas-eve like is today? And how much telly can one person put up with in one sitting? Arrghhhh. My parents normally have 2 fires lit which heat the house but this Christmas they haven't lit EITHER and the house is still like a sauna!! Meep.
Does this mean that Australia is having a colder christmas?
Hej is coming over in a bit, which will be weeeeeird as we never used to go to each other's houses as kids really, and I get to give her a slightly bashed-about present that didn't quite survive the journey up here. Whoops.
I need some Ernie (they have turned me into an alcoholic.. my parents are such a bad influence)
I did something very brave today and went to my local pub and had a drink at lucnhtime (well, breakfast really since we are lazy and get up late :p) I was expecting it to be packed full of threatening neighbours that remember me and insist on spekaing welsh, but it wasn't at all. It was pretty uneventful actually. So go me or something :P
