I got an A on my first essay here! Yaaaaay! I still have 600 pages of reading and a presentation due Friday! Boooooo! I have 4 essays due in less than 2 weeks, with a combined page count of around 30! BOOOOOOO!!!

And yet, I'm online.

I signed up for French 310, "Texts in Context," for the upcoming Spring semester. The specific area of focus for each class is up to the professor. Apparently, section I ended up enrolling in is on French comic books. My entire reading list is made up of comic books. That was . . . unexpected. I'm feeling much happier now. Once my roommate woke up properly, we talked again and she's very nice. Mollie told me that her mother said she was shy, so I made an extra effort to talk, and everything went much more smoothly. Just knowing that shyness was the reason for her being so quiet in the beginning made me much more at ease. There's a ( Read more... )
