*grumble, grumble* I just started reading The Knight and The Dove Sunday night, and I finish it yesterday. Great...I don't know what I wanna read next. I might head downstairs and start looking through the boxes of books I have stashed down there...see if any of them catch my eye. One of them might...I'm hoping one does. I am so tempted to re-reread Hitchhikers....even though I finished that on Saturday. I should try and see if I can dig up that one Anne McCaffery book...I forgot the name...The Ship That Fought, I think. It's from one of her serieses about people who were born deformed, or had some kind of body destroying accident occur, whose minds are taken from the destroyed body and placed as a living control for a space ship (or a major city). They are paired with a normal person as a partner, called "brawns". In this one book, the ship and her "brawn" land on a planet where they discover that it is ruled by magic users...but the magic was actually created by absorbing energy from an ancient power plant underneath the planet's surface. And they drained so much power from the plant that it was causing the planet to deteriorate. Or, maybe something else will catch my eye...
