I should be doing my thesis presentation for the defense tomorrow and work on a project, but I just wanted to vent about what’s been happening lately in 2 countries significant in my life.
First is on the death of Kim Jong-il. As you all know, Kim Jong-il the leader of North Korea is dead. So now, the son is taking over North Korea. You see, North Korea has been targeting Japan and South Korea for the longest time now. Only God knows what North Korea’s motives are, but they’ve attacked Japan and South Korea several times in the past.
On Twitter just a few hours ago, “North Korea Missile” (“北朝鮮ミサイル”) trended in Japan. Apparently, North Korea already launched a missile in the sea of Japan (I’m not sure of the range and when exactly this happened). This could mean that they’re still attempting more attacks. Because of this, South Korea and Japan are on the process of allegiance for defense especially in case war breaks out.
I really hope that this doesn’t escalate into a worse situation :( I’ll be living in Japan next year and I pray hard that these things won’t affect everyone who live there :( I mean, the earthquake in Japan last March was already out of control. The thing with North Korea can be controlled. Why can’t they just give up? Taking over North Korea was already more than enough!
Gah. This is making me more angry with North Korea >:| SCREW YOU, NORTH KOREA! Don’t you dare touch Japan!>:(
The next issue is our Philippine president President Noynoy Aquino. Not a lot of you may be aware of the situation here in the Philippines, but there was a typhoon this weekend and Cagayan de Oro and Iligan City was heavily devastated. Hundreds of people lost their homes and 300+ innocent people lost their lives. Us, commoners who weren’t affected, try to give all the help we can provide. Relief operations are ongoing and many companies and corporations accept donations.
While all these things are happening, what is our VERY GOOD president doing? Latest news has it that according to Globe, PNoy is the first person to own an iPhone S. Globe claims that PNoy has been a loyal customer of Globe and that the iPhone S was given as a loyalty present. However, this is questionable. While the people were and still are suffering with the disaster, where was the president? HE WAS AT A PARTY OF GOD KNOWS WHAT. See what he’s doing? He can just go sell his freaking iPhone S and help the people or at least go to the affected areas to help with the relief operations. But no, he’s a heartless monster who abuses his power. He also has some nerve to take out his anger on GMA, which is another issue.
I’m not saying GMA is right or that she was the perfect president. She also had her mistakes. There were a lot of things she didn’t do to change the country for the better. But at least she has a lot of accomplishments that she can be proud of. Honestly, I think she deserves the role of presidency more than Noynoy does. I don’t even know anything he did right since he became the president.
Who was the one trying to convince the Chinese authority to not execute the drug syndicates in China? It wasn’t Noynoy, it was Binay the vice-president. Where was the president when all these was happening? Who knows? Maybe he was somewhere making a fuss about his love life.
Gosh, seriously. It’s sad that a lot of people don’t realize these things. It’s sad that people like Noynoy as the president and not someone more deserving like Binay or GMA. A lot of people think GMA is such a sucky president especially because of her reputation. But I really think she doesn’t deserve the kind of treatment that she’s getting from Noynoy.
Anyhow, the bottom line is that who we call President Noynoy Aquino today, doesn’t deserve the seat of presidency.
I think it shouldn’t be Corona who’s supposed to get impeached, but Noynoy, himself.
It’s just sad. Whatever is happening to these countries and even the world, I pray that God does work a miracle upon especially these two countries.
