Jzone Praise and Worship Night: 180 degrees
I was blessed by the praise and worship night of Jzone. Lights out, spotlights on, and singers and the whole band, dressed in awesome outfit of black and white, come out on stage. And there's tech working on the lights and sounds, making sure that things were okay up on stage. Then BOOM! Started with a super lively praise and worship.
WORSHIP TO THE FULLEST...
It was an excellent event. It wasn't just another praise and worship usually done in Jzone every week. Everyone sang their hearts out and it just felt good to see that, and actually experience it for yourself. I felt like my heart got lighter from all the burden and struggles I've been going through. It just felt great to feel God's greatness through singing from your heart. And that was true worship. GLORY TO GOD IN THE HIGHEST.
MAKING A 180 DEGREE CHANGE...
After the long, enjoyable, lively, colorful first set of praise and worship came the message spoken by Ptr. Jonathan. The message was entirely about making a 180 degree change. I wasn't able to copy the whole message since the lights were off except the stage.
Anyway, it was a great realization for me to make a 180 degree change. There are lots of areas that I need to improve on. Indeed, we are a work in progress. But because we're work in progress, we need to work on our flaws. I have so much qualities that probably God isn't happy about right now. I still get impatient a lot and complain sometimes. I get discouraged easily. I have a tendency to compare myself which I don't really like doing. I end up feeling bitter when circumstances get the best out of me. Those things have to be changed 180 degrees. And I WANT TO MAKE A 180 DEGREE CHANGE ONCE AND FOR ALL.
POUR OUR HEARTS OUT...
After the message was the last set of praise and worship and the time when we all felt heavily emotional. I poured my heart out, admitting all the pain I felt inside to God. And then I also felt my heart broken for the things I've done that might have hurt God as well. RID ME OF MYSELF, I BELONG TO YOU.
And indeed, I WANT YOU. I NEED YOU.
I felt revived after the whole event. I can't say I left the place unchanged. I want to make a difference and that would be TODAY.
180 DEGREES CHANGE ONCE AND FOR ALL.
****Praise God for the Music and Tech Ministry and the whole production team for making this event possible!\:D/ God bless you guys with more blessings to come.
