Season One
So I've finally gotten around to watching the first season of Mad Men... I started today, watched the first five episodes in a row, and am only stopping because it is now past 3 in the morning. Seriously not understanding the "boring" label thrown at this show.
Oh my god. This show. Don and Peggy are my spirit animals. So many truths and astoundingly astute observations. So many appalling sexist, racist, heteronormative etc. things thrown around in the past five hours. All the women in my family line for the past few generations were secretaries, idek how I feel about that after watching Peggy.
Also, the Dick Whitman storyline with his brother Adam is completely breaking my heart.
Damn, I've missed good television.
