Today I had a random memory.
When the new Starbucks was about to open on Airport road in H'ville, I applied for a job as a barista. I was finishing up the semester in Birmingham at the time.
So I got an interview, got dressed up, and drove 2 hours. When I got there, no one was there. I called her and she said that she totally forgot and could we do it later? And she said she'd call me back. I was like... um, ok. So I drove 2 hours back to Birmingham. She never called me back. Thinking about it still makes me angry.
