So I'm sitting here trying to sign on to my school website to do homework, and it won't let me. So I decided to start on a little project I've wanted to do for some time now. This is part-essay and part musing on my part. It may or may not fit in with your head-canon or even historical knowledge. On both parts I am open to increasing my own

I agree with basically all you saida bout Russia. I've never thought of him as a rape truck and I've always roleplayed it that he's like a child. One who hurts those by accident and doesn't quite realise what he's saying. (This coming from how he was treated as a child, therefore doesn't quite know that it is bad

Thank you for your reply. :) I don't read much fiction myself, even though I write so much of it. The main reason was that people kept writing Russia pretty much criminally insane and I don't think he is. I like Lithuania as a pairing with him because I think Lithuania has the attentive nature that suits Russia. They have a long history, of course not all of it good, but that's also a lot of time to get to know each other. Lithuania doesn't seem to hate him in canon. Fear sometimes maybe, but never hate.

I like other Russia pairings too, don't get me wrong. I just like RussLiet best. :)

Oh man, RuAm! I hate it with a burning passion, lol. It's one of the few pairings I actively dislike. I don't mine RuPru, but I agree, minus the rape and pure brutality please. I also dislike very dominant Canada (don't mind him top, but not dominant) and pedo England too. :( You can click above in my last comment for my fics if you like. Mostly RussLiet but I have some other pairings in there.

RuAm is the only pairing I hate with a burning passion as well. I try at all costs to ignore it xD It just... doesn't make any sense at all for me. There's not a single reason they'd want one another and neither would rape as you said.

Oh yes, Canada can top, if its like switching and with people who are also like that, though I only read him as bottom (except to iggy, they switch). but I can see him top to lith, japan, iggy, france... to name a few. I just don't think he'd actively fight to be it. He's pretty submissive personality wise, not sexual wise.

Pedo England is my biggest hate, one huge reason I refuse to read UKUSA - just one of them mind you, I haven't read a single USUK I like.

I did click your fics and am going to definitely read some when I have time. =) They look interesting, though personally I love super long oneshots or multichapter fictions more than oneshots. Granted though, I mostly write oneshots myself XD;;

Finally someone understands! They do not get along! They're more than rivals, they're ready to backstab each other. There's nothing I dislike more than seeing them all fluffy and cute either. I can't see them doing anything other than possibly having hatesex once or something... Because I dislike rape entirely.

I don't mind UK/US if done right, with an adult America. I just hate UK/Hong Kong or Sealand or something, ugh.

Most of my oneshots aren't past 7 pages, but well, I do have that crazy long Asylum AU Love, Insanity?. It's mainly Ivan/Toris though it has many other characters and some other pairings in it too. That one is literally the size of a small novel so I have been told.

Oh, Toris has his issues in mine. But those are still being discovered...So I can't tell much. XD He didn't get help though, but he does want to help others because of his past.

I agree that America and Russia are disgusted by each other. xD Oh man, the other pairing I greatly dislike... Russia/Poland. They also hate each other with a passion.

Russia/Poland. Don't really pay attention to it. Poland is kind of a wall flower to me. xD I'd put him with Lith out of anyone but even then I'm not fond of reading/roleplaying him.
