It's me again...
No, I've not been drinking! I'm just happy to be here, even though I've eaten way too much today for my liking (I had carbs...it's obvious, my period is coming!)
Went to my accountant today, and I'm getting a tax refund of around $400 - isn't the government dandy? Bought my medication for my trip, one years supply of Loette (the pill), and bought a couple of presents for family in NY (aftershave and perfume - and toys for the kids). I also got myself this little black jumper, it was so cheap too, only $10! It's nothing majorly special, but it looks cute.
I just got a phone call from this lady, Katie, who's organizing an opening ceremony for the Deaf olympics and she wanted me as a belly dancer to perform and organize a troupe, problem is, it's in January next year and where will I be then? CANADA! It's a shame, but i'm going to give her number to Vicki and see if she can do something to help. It is nice to see people recognising my talent though. I so want to dance in Canada, if I can't find a dance class, then hell, I'm going to start up my own School of bellydance.
Not much else to report...I have to wash my hair soon and curl it up...I'm going out with my girls tonight and we're going to paint the town red. Ok, honestly, we're going to my dad's restaurant then to a bar or something. Nothing too wild, but it should be a good night all the same.
As for me, it's over and out for now.
