I'm feeling suddenly very inspired today.

I just watched an episode of The Incredible Human Journey which had some amazing examples of very early art in it.

This Gobekli Tepe temple in Turkey is possibly one of the oldest purpose built temples in the world, it predates Stonehenge by six thousand years. I love this intricately carved creature:

People have been asking me for ages what to do if they don't have the artistic ability to create a Stele of Revealing for themselves.

I have just uploaded a PDF line drawing of the stele that I drew directly from an image of the original which you can download and print off to colour yourself.

I have just come across the artist Ray Caesar. He work is darkly beautiful in just the right way. Each image is deliacte and beautiful yet slightly twisted and metamorphosised into something else.

He is currently exhibiting at the Galerie Magda Danysz in Paris along with many other artists which I will be having a look at in the next week.
