Deacon-wear from the Occult Housewife

Quite a while ago now I created this lovely yellow sash for our deacon osymandus. Having traveled around a bit I've discovered that deacon-wear is in fairly short supply/of poor quality.

I will be taking on the role of Deacon for the Gnostic Mass for the first time next month and will therefore now be creating another one for myself and since it is easier to do things in multiples at the same time I will be making a few extra which will be able to buy through the Oasis' website. One will be winging its way to Brazill so there will be 2, maybe 3 available so let me know if you might be interested.

Damn Photobucket doesn't seem to want to upload a picture from Eric so I will have to make do with this picture of it being worn during the recent wedding in York:

Osy's has these amazing equal armed scrolling crosses on the tips of it which I was very lucky to get hold of when I did and had been hording for a special occasion so he ended up getting the benefit of them. So I won't be able to recreate the original one exactly but its nice to have a little individuality to Mass clothing anyway.

For myself I just managed to get a pair of these:

They are perfect! And cost me less than £4 including shipping from the US. I love having a strong Pound right now. I also love fleur-de-lys very, very much :D
