Whenever Donghae was sent to the Hold for disobeying orders, which was quite often, Kyuhyun would sneak over to the tiny detention room for troublemakers and the like bearing food for the older boy to eat.
While the other eats, the younger of the two would lean against the wall quietly watching the food he brought disappear quickly from sight. After Donghae finishes eating, Kyuhyun would look at the older boy with those dark eyes of his until the other would ask what’s wrong.
“Why do you do this, Hae?” he’d ask softly.
“Because right isn’t always the only way.”
