Based on 'Breaking Ground'

I've been looking for this story that was based on the episode 'Breaking Ground' and of course I can't find it. I'm thinking it was a crossover and maybe it was part of a series but I'm not positive. All I can really remember is they are at the dig, it's raining and there is a tent over the opening of the hole, there's a lot of gold, and the really evil bad guy snatches Blair and the gold and gets away. I think the crossover people help Jim rescue Blair.

Does anybody know this story?
