Crossposting from Dreamwidth Question

Okay, so: Master Fanworks post, I want that to be at the top of my journal. In DW, easy, I make it a sticky. In LJ, easy I THOUGHT, I just state the date for some time in the far future. Which works fine until I try to crosspost from DW, wherein DW freaks out and won't make the post until I fix the date over on LJ. Anyone who regularly crossposts,

I know a way (not a good way, but a way) for comms, but not for private journals. The only thing I could think of would be to make the index a sidebar link in your style options, or define the link to the post as your "website" in your profile.
