"Mmmmm...."Jasmine awoke to the warm feeling of a body next to her and soft kisses being laid on her back. "That feels nice." She lifted her head a bit and saw Tetsu press another kiss to her shoulder and then rub her back gently.
"Good morning, Jasmine-chan." he murmured. "Or should I call you 'Mrs. Tekkan Aira.'?"
"It's Mrs. Marika Aira, to you." She teased. "I still can't believe that we're married. The wedding was like a dream come true...even after Ban crashed into the church like that..." She turned over onto her side and smiled. Tetsu smiled back at her endearingly, his dark hair falling into his eyes.
Jasmine sighed and got up from the bed, slipping on the pale yellow sleeping yukata that Umeko had got her as a wedding gift and headed to the balcony.
For their honeymoon, Jasmine and Tetsu had left Japan and taken up residence in a pretty oceanfront condo in a small vacation town in a small state on the east coast of America, called Ocean City, Maryland. They'd be there for two weeks.
"It's beautiful out here, Tetsu." Jasmine murmured. "I've always wanted to wake up to the sound of the ocean. Just listen to that."
Tetsu came up behind her and wrapped his arms around her. "It's wonderful. So peaceful...sort of like the ocean sounds on my alarm clock in my room back at the DekaBase. Although, that comes out of a speaker and is mesured in Kilohertzes and not in pleasure..."
Jasmine giggled. "You do wind up prefering the real thing, don't you?"
Tetsu nodded, burying his face in her hair. "Yes...look at that view. A perfect blue sky, calm ocean singing us its song...."
Jasmine placed a gloved hand over his. "You and I as husband and wife."
"Yeah...everything's...." Tetsu paused, smiled and did his best imitation of Hoji's voice. "...perfect."
