Comcast and the grand scheme of things.

Has been a fortnight since I last updated this thing. It's been a busy week. Comcast has got me working the Prince William County Fair this week. It's been a little bit of Hell, dealing with old people who don't like the service (yet continue to pay for it), and then racist people.

Seriously, there's been a surplus of people coming up to me at the fair, complaining about how they are paying for Hispanic channels. I had one lady go on a tirade about how immigrants are taking free money from the government, how they serve no purpose, et cetera.

*sigh* And that, ladies and gentlemen, is one of the reasons I look forward to leaving this job. Unfortunately, the money's great, so I'm finding it difficult to resign the position and go back to not being able to afford gas.

At any rate, I'm leaving the job (if it doesn't leave me, that is) in summer 2007. It's been set, a goal is in place, and now I got to work towards it.

The good news is that I'm acting again. Even though I have only been to one rehearsal for Seagull, it felt good to get back onstage. Yakov's going to be fun to play.

Any way, back to Chicago. Even though it's about a year away, I'm psyched to be leaving. I've already been checking apartments out online, and found a couple of places that could work great for me. Definitely going to be living in a studio apartment. It's an awesome feeling, the anticipation. Also, there's the possibility of splitting an apartment with Double D, if he decides to go to DePaul..DuPaul...whatever.

Bottom line is, I'm in the long home stretch for my time in VA. A year sounds like a lot of time, but with work and shows in the future (hopefully), it's going to come up quickly.

Damn, this post was redundant.

Good night to all!
