So, I got into a little discussion on Dave and Busters tickets.

I know there's a number of people out there who take their ticket winnings seriously, especially if hard to find items (like launch-XBox 360) become available.  There's a lot of theories, but it boils down to two parts.

How much money do you end up getting an Xbox360 for in the long run, or even one of its games?

It varies a lot, depending on the exact situation at the time.

There were a couple instances when the game was very heavily biased in my favor: I played it a lot. Lately, though it's been pretty dead so it's settled about 15 tickets / chip.

The last 360 game that I won there was an above average payout, so I came out very very slightly ahead of retail pricing (about $65 worth of play, which works out nearly at $59.99 + tax) The 360 itself was probably about $600 or so, spread out over a long period of time. But I did get it before a lot of other people, so there's that.

If I had to do it right now at the current unfavorable rates, it'd be over $900, which is why I don't play it so often. Maybe they'll lower the rates again soon.

Well, that's not a bad price for being able to play a whole lot of games along with getting something uber.
