...so little time:
http://www.toplessrobot.com/2008/08/the_10_most_blatant_star_wars_ripoffs.php Oddly enough, regarding number 4, a DVD of the 1980 curio Galaxina (starring the late - murdered - Dorothy Stratten) turned up in a pound (£) shop in Peckham last year, inadvertently leading me to the discovery that the film spawned a late sequel of sorts in 2001:
http://uk.imdb.com/title/tt0414034/ I still contend that Disney's The Black Hole (at number 6) is something of a lost classic, and Topless Robot seems to miss the point about the casting of the film, which is something of a joy for movie freaks (Yvette Mimieux from George Pal's 1960 take on Wells' The Time Machine, Roddy McDowell from Planet of the Apes, Slim Pickens from Dr. Strangelove, etc., etc.). Somewhere in the Archives I've got a VHS copy taped off the telly, but the movie's rarely broadcast these days and - despite trying - I've never been able to acquire it on DVD. *Sigh.*
