My first entry of the new year!
Horseback riding was SOOOO much fun! I absolutely loved it. When I get rich I want to buy a horse or 2. I'd love to make a hobby of riding, but it's so damn expensive. Oh well. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. It was just me and kyle and two of the people who work there who were real sweet. It was so laid back which was nice. We picked up how to do it pretty quickly in the ring. And then we were supposed to go ride on the trail but it had rained before so it was too dangerous. But we did get to ride them around the property which was fun. Cause they've got tons of land. We're definately going to have to go back sometime.
It's really weird with the roomies back in the apartment and not being there too. I already feel left out! Like I'm missing out on all the quality roomie time...which is all the time. And I do NOT like those girls being in there. She rearranged my room!!! argghlkjfalksdjfa;osdf Trying not to freak out. When I get back they'll be gone and I can move it back to how I want it and it will be all mine again! Like nothing ever changed. I wonder if they're going to continue to be so anti-social with John and Mo or if they're going to eventually attempt to be friends. The samantha girl's parents and boyfriend were much more friendly than her. And they put a random futon in the living room?? Why do we need another piece of furniture? we already have seats for 7 people. Now it just looks stupid and cramped. We're not in a dorm, you don't have to cram a futon in if there's more then 2 square feet of extra space.
I HAVE A FAMILIA!!! I got the last packet in the mail yesterday!! The senora's name is Maria Luisa Nora and her husband Antonio. They're in their 60's (yay old people!) and they have a son Antonio Jose who's 26 and is an investigator. Sounds like CSI Sevilla. I dunno if he'll be living with us or not. And they have a small dog!! Yay I get a puppy!!! Ooh and I'm really excited that they don't smoke in the house! Cause I'm going to have to put up with smoke everywhere else in the country, atleast the house will be smoke-free. And apparently Maria is an excellent cook and will be preparing many traditional spanish dishes...I'm going to have to learn how to eat traditional spanish dishes! lol I'm relieved cause they told us before that not all the senoras will be good cooks, but they specifically say she's an excellent one.
And I found out who my roommate is, Kate Fernandes...but she's not hispanic. She's from MA and she seems really nice so far from the messages she's sent on facebook.
We got our itinerary for the first 4 days too! We'll spend the first 2 in Madrid site-seeing and such. Then the next day we go to Toledo, and on the fourth day we'll go to Cordoba. And from there we go to Sevilla and meet our families! eek! It lists all the site-seeing we're going to do and I can not wait!! We're gonna see a TON just in those first 4 days.
So I noticed the other day on facebook that mimi and her boyfriend broke up...and I laughed. I'm a terrible person, oops. And now I'm really curious as to what happened. But apparently it's a big secret cause they're not telling portia. We all totally called it. She transfered to UNCC to be with him. We knew that was a bad idea. I just wish I didn't have her blocked, cause when me and ryan broke up, a few days later she had a super mushy away message about her and momo and I thought that was real insensitive and made a lil comment about that to her online which she never responded to. But then when we were fighting this summer she brought it up and said I was self-centered, and just cause I was unhappy I wouldn't let anyone else be happy. If I didn't have her blocked now I'd definately put up a mushy I love kyle away message. oops.
Ok, time to go babysit and get some dinero! adios
