(no subject)
What a busy day...got up early this morning to go see Melissa at the airport!! I can't believe she left for ireland TODAY! That means I have to leave soon...I'm really glad I got to go see her off. She didn't have an emotional breakdown which is hopefull...maybe I'll be able to keep it together. And her family was really sweet, I liked them a lot. I'm suddenly really excited about my trip...at the moment it's seeming less scary, and more fun. Maybe it's just cause I like airports...
Then I went to my mom's 50th birthday party at my aunt Mary's house. It was pretty fun...especially when Shelley showed up with baby Lexie! She's much more fun than talking to old people...cept she's just getting over a flu...so she was sneezing on me the entire time. So it's very possible I'm gonna get sick. I just took a bunch of vitamin C to try and kill it. But I wasn't gonna not hold her cause of that since that was probably the last time I'll see her till I get home in May...and she'll be completely different then.
Now I'm waiting to go get dinner w/ the folks at Elmo's before heading over to Kyle's house for his parent's new years party. Dunno what that's gonna be like. Hopefully it'll be fun.
My hair is still freaking me out...it's so short! I haven't had it this short in ages. I love it though...it just takes more work. I can't just comb my hair and go. I have to try and get the bangs to go the way I want them too. So much effort.
Kyle keeps nagging me to come stay the night with him at his house. Steve and Jean said it would be ok if we did, since they let his brother and his gf stay the night, and jean's son and his gf stayed the night once too. But the idea of staying the night together with his parents there is kinda weird to me. Just cause I know my parents would be very weirded out if he stayed the night here. I know his parents are fine with it, but still...It is really weird though not staying the night with him almost every other night. We got so spoiled this semester. He came over to see me last night though at around midnight. That was a nice surprise. Usually he's going home then to go to bed, but since he didn't have to work till late today, he came and hung out a lil while...I can't wait till tuesday...horseback riding! and then friday is the flamenco show! yay!...and hopefully the girls will be coming back to raleigh soon! back home to 204!
