i'm beginning to be amazed more and more at how confusing our political system is. i know everyone's probably thinking i should have figured this out already.. anyway, i'm fascinated by the idea of federalism - i think it was one of the best concepts developed for us, and i also think it's been destroyed by the u.s. congress.

so it's rockin that the medical marijuana issue has come down to arguments on states' rights in the supreme court.
