year in review pt. 2
so now that I did a "silly" year in review, I went back and read through the last time I did an actual year in review (June 1st)
so I decided to do one to catch us up to now.
June
Right after I 'gave up' on my relationship with Curtis, we had a long talk and patched things up. Worked on The Dread with Jon Reeves. I didn't spend very much time on set but what I did do was a lot of fun. Curtis and I had our last little get together in Kalamazoo. It was fun but kind of spoiled by too many people being around. Went to my dad's house for a while. Didn't get a job. Didn't participate in Measure for Measure. Had a really interesting/weird encounter with a guy on a bike while I was at Adado. Curtis came up to Lansing to visit.
July
Well, I FINALLY got a cell phone with a plan. Went to Curtis' "I'm leaving the country" party in ohio. Got lost with Kelsey and Kat on the way back and so after finally getting home, stayed the night with them. It was much fun. Went to Guster concert with my dad, also much fun. Stayed at Kelsey's again. Had a hangover without getting drunk (/ drinking at all). Drove a jetski for the first time.
August
Had my externship with the aerial angels which included the following:
-danced in a cage
-learning how to eat fire
-going to Toronto
-going to London
-drinking in a bar for the first time
-meeting tons of people
-especially The Popsicle
-made out in an elevator, possibly one of the hottest things I've ever done
-was introduced to Regina Spektor
-learned how to make masks
-took a 2 hour walk through the woods in the rain,awesomeness incarnate
After externship I went back to my mom's house and did nothing for a bit.
Stayed at Sarah's dorm room for a night.
September
Had the girls night out with my mom, aunt sandy and aunt ange. Super awesomeness. Got in a big fight with my stepmom.
Visited my cousin in his first week at The Zoo. Visited with Nassau. Started school. Met a bunch of people like Dan. Started work on The Secret Garden. Got my job in the scene shop. Got my first pay check from that. Realized that my love life was really screwy.
October
Straightened out my love life. Saw Mike Glista and Trent Pancy. Submitted my plays to ACTF. Decided to design for ACTF. Fought with my Spanish grades. Founded and ran "Cirque du K"
November
Did The Secret Garden. Started dating Dan. Got my first tattoo. Got my nose pierced. Strained my relationship with my roommate. Volunteered to Stage Manage for next quarter. Met Dan's mom. Jaime came with me for thanksgiving. Went to Stegman Family thanksgiving, surprisingly for the first time. Had Exam Week... otherwise known as The Week from Hell.
December (so far)
Went to Oberlin with Dan, relaxed and had a lot of fun. Went to Mom's house for a couple of days. Came to Dad's house and baby sat a couple of times. Did my christmas shopping. Except Sarah. Who I have to do seperately. Other than that, I have been doing a little work on stage managing and I started writing a fanfiction. I have to finish my model and redo my drafting before ACTF or 1st week is going to be another week from hell.
okay. it's almost 4:30 in the morning... peace out.
