Fable 2 Pub Games
Ok, I got a free copy of this with my pre-order of Fable 2. So, I started playing it. You can unlock stuff to be used in the Fable 2 game if you play enough. Its also very relaxing, and a good time killer. There are three different games you can play. One requires some skill. One is a bit of understanding of probability. The third is all about luck.
So, last night, in the company of Kat, Jeff, and Lisa, I attempted to spend some of the ridiculous amount of money I earned in Fable 2 - game lets you use your characters money - to see how quickly I could lose it in the completely random third game called Spinnerbox.
I played most the Spinnerbox variations and lost my money, betting the max per spin I could, within 5 minutes. On average, you get 10 spins if you bet the Max amount, and never win on any spin. Random things like free spins and payoff multipliers can come in, depending on the variation you choose for the game.
One game defied logic. I started playing it, betting the max. 45 minutes later, I had passed the controller around to all who wished to spin. We started with 200 gold, and could rarely get back down below 1000. We agreed we would quit when one of two things happened. 1) We ran out of money. 2) We hit the big jackpot. Well, Jeff got us down from 1200 to 400 or so, then hit the jackpot. So, we quit, after realizing a completely random chance game kicked our asses. It was amusing cause we were cursing and swearing when we won anything.
Kat has told me we can never go to Vegas due to my reverse style of gambling. :)
