Um, hi. I'm a complete newcomer to the fandom and would love to have some Basara friends! I'm a bit nervous about posting this here (I hope it's okay to do so!), but I'm sure there are plenty of others who've only recently discovered the fandom and so I thought a friending meme would be a good idea. About Me: Um, I'm a university graduate who now makes a living feeding other students in Halls, OTL. I like drinking tea and red wine and I watch a lot of anime in my spare time. I'm prone to obsessions and Basara is the current one.

Are you watching the anime?: Yeah, that's what first got me into the fandom.
Have you played the games?: No. Well, not yet. It looks like I'll have to play it in its Devil Kings incarnation, though.
Favourite Characters: Masamune (LOL, already imagining how many other people will say this...he seems rather popular!) and Kojuro (but of course), and I have to admit that I have developed a soft spot for Keiji, too.
Favourite Pairings: Kojuro/Masamune. But I'd read pretty much anything.

Other Fandoms: None that I'm especially active in, but I was very into Gundam 00 and am still very fond of it, likewise for Gurren Lagann. I'm currently watching a few currently airing series other than Basara,

Have you played the games?: No. I'm not savvy with importing titles, and I refuse to touch Devil Kings (what a travesty..).
Favourite Characters: DATE MASAMUNE (ogodjesuschrist). At a distant second place is Sasuke, followed by Yukimura's back. And I guess his face is alright, too.
Favourite Pairings: Masamune/Kojuuro ♥ And I'm a heathen that likes Sasuke/Kasuga and Shingen/Yukimura.

Other Fandoms: Devil May Cry, mainly. I dabble in others, but DMC is my main kick, apart from my new Basara craze.

Figured I should say a little more, as I tend to be a bit.. brief about myself (now scrolling through other posts, lol).

Journal Stuff: Sorry it is F-locked, but... In there, I've got a handful of fangirl!Basara entries lately*, but most of it is either random insight, random sketch!posts (as said, I dabble in drawing), and the occasional tl;dr ramble about something deeply personal (most people skip these entries, anyway 8D).
* One of said entries is a defensive short essay about my OTP. No kidding.

Fandom Stuff: A longer list of my fandoms is available under my LJ interests, but to put it concisely: I'm a Capcom ho, I love my DS but I'm not a big Nintendo kid, I worship the ground the Phoenix Wright series was programmed on, I enjoy a handful of anime but don't watch most mainstream shows (things like MSG00 and Code Geass do not hold my interest at all), I used to be a huge Naruto fan back in the day, and the first anime I ever loved was YuYu Hakusho

Yup, I sure am... though I haven't quite got around to watching the latest two yet. Shame on me.

Have you played the games?:
I was lucky enough to get to do so when I went to visit my friends in the USA. Only played as Mitsuhide (mostly him, to be honest), Nouhime and Keiji, though I watched them play as Masamune and Yukimura.

Favourite Characters:
Mitsuhide! No, really. Why I chose the scary insane one as my favourite I don't know, but he interests me a ton (I play the Samurai Warriors/Sengoku Musou games and the Mitsuhide in that is one of my favourites, but his personality is completely opposite). I also like Nouhime and Keiji, though to be honest most of the characters are quite likeable. Really feel for

ACCORDING TO MY FRIEND'S TRANSLATIONS OF THEIR IN-GAME, IT ACTUALLY HAS SOME SMALL BASIS. XD I drew on that, did some of my own research and fleshed things out to write some fic. The anime is stirring my urges to write it again, hurhur, from the tiny bit I've seen so far.
