To social or not to social...
It's a tough question.
Planning a wedding social isn't that bad (nothing compared to planning an Astro, for instance) but Amy and I don't have as smooth a working relationship for such things as Xian and I do, which makes it a bit harder.
There's also that Amy wants it all done yesterday, but I have to stay focussed on the Park Cop Insanity for the trial next month, which is quite dominating my thoughts.
I also have the concern that amongst our circle of friends there aren't a lot of heavy drinkers, and that's where a lot of the profit comes from at a social. A lot of folks I know have socials that either break even or lose money. Only a few have made money. Teresa and Nick did but theirs was at a bar and that's something I do NOT want.
So - do I suck it up and do the social or just not bother. Anyone have any thoughts?
