Our basement is divided into roughly three general areas. The largest is finished, and the second half is about a third as big and is being used as storage. There is also a small room in the corner that doesn't really serve a purpose. It's too small for any kind of room for entertaining, and if it was suppose to be more storage, the previous owner wouldn't have bothered to put up a wall dividing it from the rest of the basement. I think it was a canning room at some point...
Anyways, about two weeks ago, I had my brothers over for a painting party and we turned the space into a music room. I have all my various instruments there and I also set up a spare computer for some demo recording. I like it alot - I did my first song tonight, and I'm generally pleased.
