Yesterday Mom and I went to Toronto for my appointment with the gastroenterologist. I made fall squash soup today. Pumpkin/potatoes/pears/onion in it, and Gouda cheese as a topping. It was really different from what I normally make, but turned out good. The whole family is in love with Gouda now, which sucks because it's really really expensive. :P ( Read more... )

Today Mom took me to Barrie to pick up the rest of my books for the Writer's Craft course; basically, they only sent me a quarter of the course, and didn't bother to give me the textbook, so even though I signed up for/paid for the course like six weeks ago, I haven't been able to do any of it. My manga from cat_mcdougall came in today. YEY. The last volume of Rayearth I and the first volume of Rayearth II. I'm happy. Haha, they're bigger than most of my manga though... trade paperback size, I guess. I need to reorganize my manga shelves so that they'll fit. ^_^;

The rest of my Ouran manga came in yesterday, and I picked it up this afternoon. How come the last batch didn't have any customs charges on it, and this one did? Huh. Go figure. >_>
