Chapter 2
“Ah~ finally home!” Shako sighed as she flopped down onto her comfy bed, “I can relax now~”
I live by myself in an apartment in Tokyo. After years and years of long distance travel to school, my parents FINALLY let me move away by myself. “Why not just go to a school closer to home?” you ask. Well Akayama Gakuen is the closest all girls school. It annoys me how my parents don’t want to put me into a co-ed school because they want me to “concentrate on my studies instead of boys”…ha while being alone, like that’s going to ever happen.
*Ding Dong*
“Mou, just when I was starting falling asleep,” She mumbled to herself. “ Hai! I’m coming!” She opened the front door of her apartment to find her best friend standing in front of her. “Chisa..What are you doing here? What happened to the party?” Shako asked curiously but she was obviously annoyed that her backstabbing friend had suddenly appeared and was now standing by the door.
“Well, I noticed that you left the goukon, what happened? You looked like you were having fun with Kotaro-kun,” Chisato was innocently pointing out.
“Having fun? HAVING FUN? Are you serious? How could ANYONE have fun with a dork like him?! I don’t mean to be rude, but he was boring me so much I wanted to sleep,” Shako unleashed her anger on her best friend. “Chisa…how could you, Hiro and Macchan even THINK I’d like a nerd like Ogawa-kun?” she was starting to question whether her friends really knew her.
“Eh? You don’t like him? But he’s so sweet and smart. Just like you!” Chisato was trying to change Shako’s mind. Shako glared at her supposed best friend. “What? He is!”
“Yeah, sure he is,” the annoyed girl said sarcastically, “If you think he’s so sweet why don’t you go out with him?” Shako offered as her irritation was starting to grow again.
“I would…but I already have Ko-chan,” Chisa was starting to float into la-la-land.
Ko-chan is Yabu Kouta otherwise known as Chisa’s boyfriend and the soccer team’s captain at Kurokawa Gakuen. The two met through an internet dating service two years ago and have been inseparable ever since.It’s probably why Chisa forces me to go to so many goukons because she hopes I find a guy like she did. Yabu-kun’s a nice guy and all, but it really pisses me off that Chisa puts him before me and willingly cancels plans with me just to be with him.
“Chisa……earth to Chisa!...AYAMOTO CHISATO!” Shako was trying to pull Chisato out of her daydream.
“Eh? What?”
“It’s nice that you’re happy, but could you save it for your lover?” the high schooler was trying to stop herself from vomiting. “Anyway, you haven’t told me why you’re here.”
It’s not that I don’t like romance. In fact I really want to find that special someone. Though, I definitely won’t become like my friends. The second they think about their boyfriends, their minds turn to mush.
“Oh right! I came here to give back your money. I feel bad that we made you pay a share yet you didn’t enjoy yourself.” Chisato sounded apologetic. Shako remembered why she was best friends with her. She was extremely kind, generous and her ears were ALWAYS open to listen to Shako’s problems. That is…whenever Yabu isn’t in the way.
“Oh thanks. Let me go get my wallet.” Shako walked over to her bag in the corner of her room and looked for her beloved wallet. She started to panic when it wasn’t there. “EH?! Inai! It’s not here! I’m SURE I left my wallet in my purse. Doushiyou? What do to?! Chisa help me!”
“I’m sure you’ll find it. Don’t worry. You have all your information in there right? Someone will find it and return it to you. No need to pan-Eh? Chotto matte.” Chisa’s phone rang. “It’s Ko-chan~ Eh? Right now?...Okai I’ll see you in a bit honey~ Love you too~” Chisato started to grin from ear to ear. “Nee, Shako, that was Ko-chan. He wants to meet me at the park down the street. I gotta go. I’ll leave the money on the table by the door. Ja nee~” she hurried out the door not wanting to keep her boyfriend waiting.
“Chisa!! I’m having a crisis here and all you can care about is your boyfriend?! Hidoi!*” Shako sighed when she heard the door slam. “I guess I’ll have to wait until someone finds it. I’ll go report it tomorrow. *yawn* curse that Chisa, she disturbed my sleep.” Little did Shako know that she would have a lovely surprise the next morning.
A/N....gomen nasai! I happened to...kinda forget that Dai-chan wasn;t in this chapter...m( _ _ ) m honto ni gomen nasai! (i have at least up to chapter 7 written..just holding back on posting[i'm so evil :3] also explains why i forgot...) I PROMISE that he;s in the next one! comments and criticism are love <3
